Built originally in the 1850's but lovingly updated with all the amenities of the 21st century, Mitchells of Chester has a sweeping staircase and many of our rooms have high ceilings with moulded cornices, which provide the perfect backdrop allowing us to showcase stunning antique pieces.
The communal Lounge with views of the well maintained garden to the rear of the house, offers a gathering place for guests and groups alike. The lounge is stocked with a book library, music system and television as well as an Honesty Bar where guests can enjoy a drink at leisure. A beautiful open log fire, comfy couches and chairs, all you need to do to now, is kick off your shoes, sit back and relax.
Breakfast is served in our elegant Dining room, where a large banqueting table forms the impressive centre point of this truly lovely room. Silver Service breakfasts are individually cooked by Helen and Colin from mainly local produce. Guests can choose from an extensive menu, including the traditional full English breakfast.
